Akhila and a lively Pranay, wrapped in the lovely promise of a lifetime.
October was in full bloom when the families of Akhila and Pranay came together for their holy union in the vibrant city of Hyderabad. The festivities, brought about by sheer communal merriment, felt like a treasured daydream. The couple’s wedding took place amidst the serene milieus of Anvaya Convention, where clear blue skies, the fragrance of flowers from the decor, and the sunlight painting every little thing pretty marked the day. Akhila looked like the bride of dreams, gracefully adorning precious diamonds over her traditional sari made of gold and all things fine. Pranay too, marked their big day with equal charm and pleasure, cladded in a beige kurta and the most jovial disposition. The day was spent reveling in love and laughter, with every moment bringing in the happiness and warmth that you would imagine out of a fairytale wedding.
And a day later, the sun arose to another glorious start at the Taj Falaknuma Palace Hotel. In the quiet of the hour, the newly weds took a walk through the palace’s royal milieus, as I made portraits to mark the beginning of their happily ever after. Soon enough, the celebrations took over. The new bride dazzled everyone in a shimmery silver dress, while Pranay made a ravishing entry with his wingmen. The rest of the day went in blithe dancing and toasts to the couple’s married life. As I made myself a part of their truly joyous family to freeze those precious moments in time, I took a few moments out to breathe and take it all in—because it isn’t everyday that you get to witness and chronicle a love story as endearing, zestful, and sublime. And I’ll always be grateful for it.
