Winter skies were aglow with a golden light, as the sun was finding its way through a cluster of cottony white clouds. My feet were embracing the welcoming sands of a pristine Goan beach, and I had the most wonderful couple in front of me to photograph for their pre wedding shoot. Little did I know, the next couple of days would go in sheer merriment, ambling the colourful streets of Panjim, exploring the charming old houses of North Goa, and marveling at the town’s unparalleled beaches down south.
Pragnya and Hemanth’s pre wedding shoot in Goa was a beauty of all sorts. It was marked with elegant melodies of the sea, untarnished coves of nature, and glorious sunsets over crystal blue shores. To me, mornings in Goa are synonymous with dreamy, abstract streets of Panjim, where you can’t help but merrily greet a newspaper wallah here and a kind old fish vendor there. Whereas evenings bring with them sweet winter breezes and the most joyful time splashing in the waters. So, during the pre wedding shoot, as we ambled Goa’s many landscapes, Pragnya and Hemanth’s laughter and conversation filled the salty air with soothing chimes.
And everywhere we looked, the sheer glory of life greeted us with open arms. A glimmering horizon over the ocean, an elegant pastel green house in the bylanes of South Goa, and the meandering jungles all made for precious stories. And I was thoroughly delighted to find myself in those stories for a memorable pre wedding shoot in Goa. It was during these tender moments that I would notice Hemanth and Pragnya lost in conversation, enjoying each others’ company like a sweet jazz melody that you hum all day on a lazy Sunday afternoon. And just like that, the pictures followed.
As I look back, I feel that it was a true pleasure to explore the immense beauty of Goa this time around with Pragnya and Hemanth’s ebullient company on their pre wedding shoot. They brought in the element of love and sparkle to the wonderful Goan milieus, which undoubtedly make for one of the most romantic pre wedding shoot locations in the world.
