My favourite melody shall always be the ring of your pure, untethered laughter.

It was a bright summer morning, and the skies revelled in the blue hour at dawn. I was on my way to photograph the holy union of an adoring duo, Priyanka and Pritorthi. The morning reeled on a mellow note brimming with love as I first stepped into the bride’s house. I was here to capture her late mother’s memory at home, to make her a part of Priyanka’s big day. When I greeted the bride at her home, I recall feeling immense purpose and pleasure in my duty of chronicling memories. Then, as the sun slowly arrived to bless the day with mirth, I made my way to Country Villas. It is a verdant colony of elegant houses, and that is where this wedding in Bangalore was set to take place.

Priyanka and Pritorthi’s wedding was a cosy affair unfurled with sheer joy and warmth. Ornate decorations of fresh flowers, tender lawns, and the enigmatic charm of the wedding guests had taken over. Together, they had turned this everyday place into one of the best wedding places in Bangalore. The couple’s friends and families were all at their sprightliest, and with every endearing conversation, the air around us seemed to grow lighter and pleasanter. I particularly remember the pure love that enveloped the couple– as a poised Priyanka and elated Priotrthi engaged themselves in a reverie of holy rituals. In between, the newlyweds had squeezed a few tender moments of togetherness, which they spent alongside me to capture their graceful wedding portraits. And thus, the day proceeded with one blessed event after the other. By dusk, the families all appeared to be tied up in a fairytale of love, joy, and beauty, as I took a final few pictures for a memory that would last forever.

As a storyteller born and brought up in Namma Bengaluru, I find a special joy in indulging in wedding photography in Bangalore. The stories, faces, and rituals all feel like home, and I cannot help but be a part of them as I make one delicate picture after another.
